Camp Life
Unforgettable Experiences
A Day In The Life At Camp
Serve and Protect
Present at camp will be several branches of law enforcement to help campers understand how these different groups operate – and show how they work together. This is also a great introduction to possible career opportunities down the road. Law enforcement groups in attendance include:
- Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
- United States Secret Service
- Pennsylvania Game Commission
- Local County Sheriff Departments
Life-Saving Instructions
Campers receive instruction in various classes and also get a unique, behind-the-scenes look at a range of demonstrations. A few highlights include:
- First Aid Training
- Radar Demonstrations
- Canine Demonstrations
- Helicopter Demonstrations – showing usage of helicopters by the State Police and for medical evacuations. And helicopters will be on sight for a firsthand look!
Educational Activities
For attendees of the Troop M Camp Cadet Program, it’s a week filled with excitement. There are safety classes and life skills taught each day by our expert instructors that the young men and women at the camp will carry with them throughout their lives. Each evening, after dinner, there is time to compete in sporting activities like softball, basketball, rifle and volleyball. Squads compete for championship trophies to be awarded at graduation.
